普莱克斯（纳斯达克代码：PLXS）宣布计划启动中国杭州工厂生产，并签约租赁位于杭州滨江高新技术园区的大约10.6万平方英尺土地。
新工厂将使普莱克斯更好地服务于在大上海地区设立了地区决策中心的全球客户，并进一步加强普莱克斯传递最低所有权总成本价值主张的能力。该工厂将成为普莱克斯的第三家亚洲工厂，其它两家工厂分别位于中国厦门和马来西亚槟榔屿。此次扩建将使普莱克斯的亚洲总足迹增长至约94.8万平方英尺。预计新工厂将于2009年财政年度第一季度末开始动工。
